He scored 345 runs in nine matches of the CPL 2022 at an average of 43.12 which helped him find a place in the squad for this tournament. Before this year, Charles last played a T20I game for West Indies in 2016. In his first game in the tournament against Zimbabwe, Charles scored 45 runs off 36 deliveries and was the most successful batter for the West Indies.

He is the joint second-highest wicket-taker in T20Is in 2022. He has taken 32 wickets in 21 matches at an average of 18.84. Little is the first Irish bowler to pick more than 30 wickets in a calendar year.

Odean Smith WI | BOWL

The West Indies have underutilized Odean Smith so far in the tournament. He has batted in number ten and nine positions in the first two matches, thus, he has contributed nothing with the bat till now. Dockrell made 39 runs off 27 deliveries and remained unbeaten.

The 26-year-old wicketkeeper-batter has been one of the best batters for Ireland this year and he has achieved some personal milestones as well this year. In 22 T20I matches, he has scored 395 runs at a strike rate of 125.39 and this has been the first time he scored over 300 runs in a calendar year.
