KH Durrani scalped four wickets, P Singh and MA Malek picked two wickets each, and V Singh and MA Azmi got one wicket each. Western Warriors won the match by eight runs.

On the other hand, Southern Hitters fought with Northern Strikers in their last game in the previous season, where Hitters won the toss and elected to bat. AS Sandhu amassed 39 runs, followed by V Unni (21) and S Aziz (19). They scored 117 runs for the loss of seven wickets. When Northern Strikers came to bat, they opened very poorly, with both the opening batters getting out very quickly. Then C Smith took the matter into his own hands and hit 54 runs, followed by W Muhammad with 24 runs and MA Azim with 12 runs. They lost six wickets but were successful in their chase. AS Sandhu got two wickets, R Haider, S Aziz, HHB Idris and KK Ananthan scalped one wicket each.
