Zimbabwe Women (ZM-W) will lock horns against Papua New Guinea Women (PNG-W) in the third T20I of Papua New Guinea Women’s Tour of Zimbabwe 2024. The match will be played at the Harare Sports Club, Harare on Tuesday (April 2) at 10:00 PM (IST).
The three-match T20I series is currently tied at 1-1 after PNG Women won the one-over eliminator in the second match. Batting first, the home side posted 119-6 in 20 overs. Modester Mupachikwa and captain Mary-Anne Musonda played brilliant innings for ZIM-W. In reply, Pauke Siaka’s match-winning knock of 33-ball 43 helped the visitors to level the total, despite a final over drama involving two run outs.
Zimbabwe could only score six runs in the Super Over, which PNG-W easily overcame to push the series to a decider. Notably, the hosts won the opening match by a massive margin of eight wickets. They also whitewashed the ODI series 3-0, so a win on Tuesday will be crucial for Papua New Guinea.

Player Picks
Pauke Siaka PNG-W | BAT
Pauke Siaka is the main reason we have a series decider. She played a match-winning knock (43 off 33 balls) to push the game into a Super Over, in which PNG won.
Mary-Anne Musonda ZIM-W | BAT
The Zimbabwe captain is also in charge of their batting unit. She scored a half-century in the first match and 37 runs in the second to take the team to a respectable score.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Geua Tom
PNG-W | BAT
Geua Tom took a wicket in the first match but it came at the cost of an economy of 9.7. In the second match, she got to bowl just one over as it went for 16 runs without any wickets. Considering her poor form, picking her in your fantasy team isn't a wise decision.
Kellies Ndlovu
ZIM-W | ALL
The Zimbabwean opener struggled to find runs in both matches. Her contribution was just four runs in the first match and 13 runs in the second. Not sure if she will perform well in the upcoming competition.
