T20 World Cup 2022: Three players to avoid in Dream11 Fantasy Team for ZIM vs NED game

Zimbabwe will lock horns against Netherlands in the 34th match of the T20 World Cup 2022 tournament at Adelaide Oval on Wednesday (November 2). Netherlands were knocked out of the race for the top-two finish in the Super 12 Group 2 with their six-wicket defeat against Pakistan in the last game. But Zimbabwe remain strong in their hopes to qualify for the semi-final despite their heart-breaking loss against Bangladesh in the last fixture. They are placed in the fourth position with three points from the opening three games and face India in their last group-stage fixture.

1. Milton Shumba

The 22-year-old top-order batter scored 18 runs off 20 balls against South Africa in Zimbabwe's opening Super 12 fixture but has struggled for a big score throughout the tournament. He scored only 29 runs from the three first-round innings and has added only 34 runs in the three Super 12 round games so far. Shumba has failed to score a 20-plus knock from his last seven T20I innings and should be avoided for the Dream11 team selection for this fixture.

2. Regis Chakabva

The veteran wicketkeeper batter scored only 15 runs off 19 balls while chasing a 151-run target against Bangladesh in the last game. This was his best score from the six innings in this tournament which suggest his recent struggles. Chakabva has scored 40 runs from six innings at a strike rate of 95.23 in this World Cup and has contributed with just three catches and one stumping while donning wicketkeeping gloves. 

3. Tom Cooper

The 35-year-old middle-order batter smashed three consecutive fifties against a strong Pakistani bowling unit in the three-match ODI series in August to raise fans' expectations ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 tournament. But Cooper has fared very poorly in the mega tournament so far. He has scored only 40 runs from six innings at a poor strike rate of 72.72 with a 16-run knock against Sri Lanka being his highest score in this tournament.
