The game of cricket has seen a great evolution over the years wherein players have come up with something unique to impress the fans. To have an upper hand in the game, batters sometimes step up to take unusual measures, which pays them well on occasions. In the recent turn of events, Pakistan’s Fawad Alan hogged too much limelight with his unique batting stance while batting against New Zealand A side.
Alam showed an unorthodox batting stance, which even impressed West Indies batting great Shivnarine Chanderpaul. However, he received major criticism from the world after he was dismissed for a duck while he came with these tactics for the first time in the international arena against England. He even became a matter to various trolls on social media, but the man has finally turned tables, and his stance has paid him dividends.
His unusual element finally paid him off when he smashed an impressive century in an unofficial tour game against the A-side of Kiwis. After failing in the first innings, Alam stunned critics with his impressive knock of 139 off 233 deliveries with that particular stance. He held his nerves to get through and displayed a sense of ease while dealing with a potent bowling attack of opponents.

Pakistan has already lost the T20I series against Kiwis
The Pakistan team performed decent enough in the four-day contest. The team remained impactful with their performance and gained an 89 runs victory to boost their confidence. The same results will give a great push to the team for their upcoming Test match against New Zealand. The two nations were set to battle out in the T20I and Test series, wherein the hosts have already gained an unassailable 2-0 lead in the T20I series.
The first two victories have already handed the T20I series to New Zealand, but Pakistan will step up for its pride in the 3rd T20I coming up on December 22. The Test match series between the two nations will kick off on December 26 at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.
