Although not everyone who ended up playing the IPL achieved their main dream, they did get an opening to live their lives harmoniously, one way or the other.

Here are five cricketers who were regular features once in the IPL and are now doing jobs we never knew.

1. Parvinder Awana &#8211; Inspector, Income Tax Department

He married Sangeeta Kasana in a private ceremony in Delhi, who works as a sub-inspector with the Delhi Police. The man very famously remembered for his final over in the World T20 2007, Joginder Sharma represented the Chennai Super Kings for five seasons despite his international career falling apart towards the end of the last decade. A horrible road accident that nearly threatened to kill him almost forced retirement on him, but he did fight his way back.

Joginder Sharma, who hailed from Haryana, represented India in just 4 ODIs and 4 T20Is, but managed to leave his mark among the fans. He last represented Chennai Super Kings in the 2011 edition and his contract expired in 2012. He picked up 12 wickets for the only club he represented in IPL in 16 games.
