5. Kamran Khan – Farming
In 2009, Rajasthan Royals signed up Kamran Khan from Uttar Pradesh and he instantly made a mark with his weird bowling action. He seemed a very productive cricketer and performed pretty well in the little time he spent with the franchise. He also represented Pune Warriors India in 2011.
Kamran Khan also has a unique distinction of being the first bowler ever to have bowled a super over in IPL history. He did that in 2009 during the game between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders in Cape Town. But for some undisclosed reasons, he quit cricket at a very young age to help his family back in his village.
Kamran Khan took up farming as a profession and has not looked back towards cricket again. The teenage sensation who clocked high bowling speeds when it was a rare thing in Indian cricket, has not played a professional game since 2014.
