Five Tips for Mumbai Indians to bring them on the winning track: The expectations from the star-studded Mumbai Indians (MI) are always high when the new season of Indian Premier League (IPL) commences but unfortunately the men in blue of IPL have not lived up to the expectations this season, having lost all the three matches thus far there start of season 8 campaign has been devastating to say the least and now Mumbai need to pull up their socks as soon as possible to keep chance of advancing into the playoff stage alive. So our advice will be to drop Pawan Suyal and back Corey Anderson, Kieron Pollard to contribute four over’s and play only 4 genuine bowlers instead of 5. 2. RR has backed the likes of Sanju Samson, Deepak Hooda and Karun Nair and has reaped in rewards. MI too needs to give more confidence to the talented youngsters like Unmukt Chand and Shreyas Gopal as a team can’t rely on top guns to win them every match. 4. Captain needs to lead by example: (Photo Source: BCCI) Mumbai Indians bank a lot on their skipper Rohit Sharma to put the team in a commanding position but the captain who took the team to glory in his first stint, has scored two ducks in the first three matches. His miserable form with the bat has affected his captaincy too, he is absolutely pivotal for this Mumbai team and it’s about time for the skipper to starts delivering. 5. Make the middle order flexible: (Photo Source: BCCI) Mumbai does not fiddle much with their middle order and it feels at times the hard hitting Kieron Pollard bats too deep to make an impact in the match. Team management need to think on its feet when it comes to batting order and provide impact players like Corey Anderson and Kieron Pollard ample over’s to stamp their authority on the game.
