F**k it! bowl fast; Mitchell Starc has a hilarious motivational message written on his band
Starc is currently plying his trade in the Day-Night Test at the Adelaide Oval.
Mitchell Starc has been in red-hot form off late. The speedster is currently plying his trade in Australia’s ongoing Test series against Pakistan and has looked at his very best. In the opening Test at The Gabba in Brisbane, he picked up seven wickets, helping his team win by an innings and five runs. Prior to that he was straining a wee bit to cement his place in the Test team.
He didn’t play all the matches in the Ashes, owing to his inconsistency. However, he has found his rhythm and is only getting better. Starc is now making the pink-ball talk in the Day-Night Test at the Adelaide Oval. In the first innings, he looked in ominous form. The pacer opened his account, dismissing Imam-ul-Haq, who came in place of Haris Sohail, who is also out of form.
Mitchell Starc likes to bowl fast
Under the lights at the fag end of the second day, Starc picked up four wickets to push the Pakistan batting on the backfoot. On the third day, he crushed Babar Azam’s dreams of his third Test ton, getting rid of him on 97. In the very next ball, he pulled off a corker of a delivery, nipping out Shaheen Shah Afridi for a golden duck. He ended with incredible figures of 25-6-66-6.
In the second innings, he dismissed Azhar Ali and helped the Aussies to a strong position by the close of the third day. By the close of play on day three, Pakistan are trailing by 248 runs with seven wickets left in the second innings. Starc is in incredible form and with the in-form Babar already back in the hut, Starc will be licking his lips to run in and unfold more mayhem in the Pakistan camp.
Starc is someone, who likes to bowl first and doesn’t shy away from expressing himself. The New South Wales-born wears a wrist band where he shows his desire to bowl fast whenever he steps on the field. He is only 29 years and has still has quite a bit of cricket left in him. His fast in-swinging yorkers are extremely tough to deal with and has ripped many poles apart.
