Mushfiqur Rahim is the most crucial player for Bangladesh in every format. He has delivered for the team on several occasions and is considered a match-winner.

However, the year 2021 was not the best one for Rahim as he failed to leave a mark on the team. In the T20 WC 2021, he made 144 runs in eight matches at an average of 20.57 and a strike rate of 113.38, including a half-century.

Rahim made 443 runs in seven matches in Test cricket and failed to hit a century. He featured in nine ODIs for Bangladesh and made 407 runs at a strike rate of 76.64. In T20Is, Rahim could make only 183 runs in 13 matches at an average of 18.30.
