For Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, home is equivalent to a vacation

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma pledged ones troth last year at a destination wedding in Italy. However, both are eminent personalities in their respective departments owing to which they have to travel across the world and therefore don’t get much time to spend with each other. Virat Kohli is the captain of the Indian team, which plays international cricket more than any other team.

On the other hand, Anushka is a renowned Bollywood actress and has been in the Indian film industry for the last one decade. Recently, the drop dead gorgeous heroine threw light on how she and her better-half spend time together. Moreover, the 30-year-old mentioned that they hardly get to live in their house and being there seems like a vacation for them.

“Marriage doesn’t feel different. Virat and I have been working around the clock, we hardly spend time together, we both have very hectic lives. So, we are living in a house and we have spent barely any time in it. For us, home is, like, wow! It’s a vacation,” Anushka Sharma was quoted as saying in Elle Magazine.

We are very simple people

The couple recently celebrated their first ‘Karvachauth’ when Anushka joined Virat following India’s third ODI against Windies in Pune, which the Men in Blue lost. In the meantime, the actress talked about how they have to deal with the term ‘power couple’.

“I think we are both not so attached to what we do. The other day someone asked me a question you know ‘power couple and two powerful people from your own industry. You know when you are together, how do you manage this and all’.

And I thought to myself and I told them also, we don’t see ourselves like that. We start to see ourselves that way then there is something really wrong in the nature of our relationship. If someone really wants to have an insight into our lives, we are very simple people, wanting to do normal, very simple things,” she added.

As far as Anushka is concerned, her next movie ‘Zero’, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, is set to be released on December 21. Virat is currently on a break and would be back during India’s T20I series against Australia, which gets underway on November 21 at The Gabba in Brisbane.
