Ravindra Jadeja was last seen on a cricket field in the World Test Championship Final
Ravindra Jadeja was last seen donning the Indian jersey during the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) against New Zealand. And, Jadeja could not create much of an impact with both bat and ball for the Indian side.
While he scored 15 and 16 in the two innings that he batted, he could just pick a solitary wicket in the entire match against Kane Williamson and his men with the red cherry. The New Zealand side beat the Indian side comfortably with 8 wickets to spare to emerge as the champions of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship (WTC).
Jadeja will next be seen in action from 4th August 2021, when India takes on England in a hugely awaited five-match Test series on England soil. The five-match Test series will be India’s first assignment in the second cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC).
Ravindra Jadeja has now lent his services for the Indian side at the international level for more than 12 years now. He has represented India in 52 Tests, 168 ODIs, and 50 T20Is as well. While he has scored 1985 runs in the whites, he has plundered 2411 runs in ODI cricket. In T20Is too, the left hander has scored 217 runs.
With the ball, Jadeja has prized out 221 batsmen in Tests, while he has scalped 188 wickets in the ODI format of the game. In T20I cricket, the crafty left arm spinner has picked up 39 wickets.
