India’s tour of Australia is one of the most awaited series of the ongoing year. The series is scheduled to start on Wednesday, November 21 with the first T20 International at The Gabba in Brisbane. Melbourne and Sydney are the other two venues. The teams will then lock horns in four Tests to be held in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney respectively.

The first Test will take place from Thursday, December 6. India didn’t have a memorable tour of South Africa and England, especially in the longest format where they managed to win only in Nottingham and Johannesburg, losing the other six of them. The upcoming Test series is expected to be an easier prospect for them as it won’t have David Warner and Steve Smith.

Vaughan set to be one of the commentators

Both haven’t been a part of the team ever since the ball-tampering scandal in Cape Town. Thereafter, Australia have strained in every format. Hence, the home team isn’t expected to have it easy against Virat Kohli’s men, who have been fairly impressive on overseas soil. In the meantime, Michael Vaughan is set to be one of the commentators in the red-ball fixtures.

Being a former English cricketer, Vaughan shares a rivalry with arch-rivals Australia. He is also an active participant in the social media and keeps taking jibes at different teams. Nevertheless, there was no doubt in the fact that he was one of the greatest English cricketers.

He is an owner of 5719 Test runs in 82 matches with 18 centuries and as many half-centuries. Meanwhile, an Australian fan by the name of Corey Chapman doesn’t want him to travel the nation. He took to Twitter and wrote, “Please don’t return to Australia”

Vaughan is a clever customer and he had a perfect response in store for the supporter. He reverted and wrote, “See you on Dec 1st Corey …,”
