Meanwhile, Quinton de Kock was the star of LSG’s triumph as he put up a batting exhibition and scored 140 off just 70 deliveries. Left-arm pacer Mohsin Khan was the stand-out performer in the bowling department, recording figures of 3/20 in his quota of four overs. Meanwhile, LSG skipper KL Rahul was exhausted with the proceedings as his nerves were tested in the contest.

“Haven’t been many games that have gone down to the last ball, maybe some which went to the last over. Happy to be on the other side. Could easily have been on the losing side and have gone back home thinking we lost due to some poor cricket.
