Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir has a history of incidents where he has lost his cool and landed himself in controversies. Temper got better of the cricketer yet again when he invited controversy for celebrating his team’s delightful win in an outrageous manner.

Gambhir couldn’t control his emotions after his team pulled off a stunning victory against RCB last night at the Chinnaswamy Stadium Mumbai. The left-hander, who was dismissed for 37, was sitting in the dugout, when Yadav hit the winning runs. Gambhir reaction was more stunning as he kicked a chair to show his enjoyment.

Chasing a challenging target of 186, KKR got off to a bad start as they lost opener Robbie Uthappa very quickly. Soon, Chris Lynn, Gautam Gambhir, and Manish Pandey also departed. The asking rate was climbing with the team requiring 117 runs in the last sixty balls. KKR needed a blistering knock from Pathan and Russell who at the crease. Both did not disappoint and went to hit match-winning knocks, stitching together a partnership of 96 runs in just 44 balls to tilt the game in KKR’s favor.

The Gambhir incident took place when the fourth ball of the 19th over was swept to the square leg boundary by Surya Kumar Yadav bringing down the equation to two runs off eight balls, the captain just couldn’t control himself.

All the while he was sitting in the dugout with his pads on and watching an incredible fight-back by Pathan and Russell, but as soon as the ball touched the ropes, the KKR skipper got up from his chair and violently kicked it down while shouting loud.
