Gautam Gambhir, the former Indian cricketer, has shared a hilarious video where the doctors in Pakistan can be seen, dancing inside a war of COVID-19 patients. The short clip shows rows of patients lying on their beds with doctors in their gears testing them in full PPE gear. Out of the blues from nowhere, they break into a dance to the popular number ‘Chitta Chola’.

The doctors around the world are trying their hearts out in mitigating the damage caused by the coronavirus pandemic. They have been working day in and day out without proper sleep.  Hence, they are trying to stay upbeat with some funny antics. “Coronavirus, wherever you are, you should listen to this’ and used the hashtag #nayapakistan.” Gambhir’s tweet read.

Like the entire world the situation in Pakistan isn’t a pleasant one by any stretch of the imagination. Thus far, there have been over 5,374 confirmed cases out of which 93 have lost their lives. Over 1,000 have recovered though. On March 22, major cities in Pakistan went into lockdown, which was extended to April 14. The daily wagers in the Asian country are also finding it tough for survival.

Gambhir lending his helping hard

In the meantime, Gambhir, who’s also a Member of Parliament (MP) with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has come forward with some contributions. He has donated quite a bit for the ones affected in the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this month, the former batsman, donated his two year’s salary to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES) fund.

A few days ago, the veteran gave away 1000 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to the LNJP Hospital in Delhi. In India, the coronavirus cases have gone up over 9,100 with 308 people succumbing to the ungodly virus. 857 persons have managed to recover from the virus though.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a lockdown until April 14. However, that has now been extended to April 30 as the world is finding it tough to see light at the end of the tunnel. Globally, in excess of 18,50,200 people have been infected with the death tolls over 1,14,215.
