Those cricket enthusiasts who have been following Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) team selection procedure are by now well aware of the term ‘yo-yo test’. Previously known as bleep test, the yo-yo test is taken so as to check whether a cricketer has attained a minimum level of fitness or not. Many renowned cricketers have failed to pass the test, but Gautam Gambhir’s elder daughter Aazeen is one of them.

The Delhi boy often shares his daughters’ pictures and videos on different social networking sites. On Sunday (July 22), he shared a video where his elder daughter, Aazeen Gambhir is seen trying out the kid’s version of yo-yo test. Those fond of cute videos is bound to love the video, which features little Aazeen trying her level best to go past the hurdles and cross the different stages that lay before her.

The adorable 43-seconds long video is already doing rounds amongst the left-hander batter’s fans. The caption of the video read “Looks like my elder one Aazeen has cleared the Yo-Yo test!!! What do you think @YUVSTRONG12 @harbhajan_singh @sachin_rt ?” The interesting part is, Gautam Gambhir has tagged another veteran cricketer Yuvraj Singh in this post.

The Punjabi all-rounder failed one such yo-yo test in 2017. After receiving a bulk load of criticism, he decided to skip Ranji Trophy games and work on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy. A couple of months later, Singh managed to clear the test and expressed his desires of playing till 2019. However, his international career might not have another page added to it.

As good as over for double G?

Gautam Gambhir had his eyes set on this year’s IPL for a possible national team comeback, but it turned out to be a nightmare for him. After a string of humiliating performances, Gambhir not only renounced captaincy but also benched himself for the betterment of the team. Gambhir will be turning 37 this October, and it will be safe to say that international, as well as IPL career for the man who has scored over 5000 ODI, runs for his country is as good as over.
