Gautam Gambhir suggests a change in the full form of MFN after Pulwama attack
Gambhir has clearly expressed his anger time and again after the attacks.
On 14th February, a terrorist attack on the Indian army convoy resulted in the death of more than 40 CRPF jawans. Pakistani terrorist organization, Jaish-e-Mohammed took the responsibility of the cowardly attack on the brave soldiers. A lot of cricketers including Gautam Gambhir have come forward to condemn the attack and have also prayed for a quick recovery for those injured in an unfortunate incident.
The citizens and army personnel are angry with the cowardly act of the terrorists. They have urged the government to take steps in order to ensure that such attacks don’t take place in the future. On Friday, the Indian government decided to withdraw the status of Most Favoured Nation (MFN) from Pakistan. Senior politician Arun Jaitley said that government will keep taking steps to ensure complete isolation of Pakistan.
“MEA will initiate all possible diplomatic steps which are to be taken to ensure the complete isolation from the international community of Pakistan of which incontrovertible is available of having a direct hand in this act,” said Jaitley.

Former Indian cricketer said that India should not take away the MFN status from the neighbouring country. The left-handed batsman added that the civilians should be able to decide what ‘F’ means. The tweet from Gautam Gambhir shows that he is very hurt with the incident. It is safe to say that he is not the only one who is angered by the turn of events.
Gautam Gambhir tweeted “I have some news for Pakistan. We should continue their ‘MFN’ status. Only thing is, that this time we the civilians will decide what ‘F’ stands for.”
Meanwhile, the bodies of the martyrs were brought to their respective families. The families were heartbroken to see their sons draped in the tricolour. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi claimed that the government will leave no stone unturned in punishing those behind this attack. “The forces behind this act of terrorism and those responsible for it, will be definitely be punished,” Modi said.
