India’s batter Suryakumar Yadav is currently in Bengaluru where he met his India and Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. He will soon depart for South Africa to join the Indian setup for the ODI series. The two teams are scheduled to play as many as three ODIs against each other starting from January 19.
Yadav took it to his official Instagram account to share a picture with Sharma. He also added a fitting caption to the post. “Hey b-Ro,” the caption of the post read. However, something that has intrigued the on-lookers is Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika’s comment on the post.
Ritika posts an adorable comment on Yadav’s post featuring Rohit Sharma
Sharma has been at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for some time now as he is recovering from his hamstring injury. He had picked up the injury just ahead of the South Africa tour. Thus, when Yadav met him in Bengaluru he posted a picture with him.
Sharma’s wife did not leave this opportunity to leave an adorable comment for her husband. “Give him a hug from me 😁,” she commented on the Instagram post which has gone on to fascinate the on-lookers as they are finding it cute. The comment fetched in a lot of likes and replies which further shows that the followers found it sweet. Yadav was then quick enough to reply to her as he wrote, “Gave” with a laughing emoji.

Talking about the series, the management decided to not rush with the batter’s recovery as he wasn’t included in the ODI squad as well. In his absence, KL Rahul has been appointed as the skipper for the ODI series with Jasprit Bumrah named as his deputy.
The inclusion of young Ruturaj Gaikwad and Venkatesh Iyer who exuded their sheer flair in the IPL 2021 also made the cut. The former was the orange cap winner of the mega tournament whereas the latter dominated the proceedings with his all-rounder skills.
