Indian fan trolls Glenn Maxwell for Aussie Women's team performance

Australian women’s team reached the finals of women’s World T20 against the West Indian women’s team. Meanwhile, the Australian men’s team were eliminated in the Super 10s stage in a do or die match by India. Australia had made a decent enough 160/6 in 20 overs at the IS Bindra PCA stadium in Mohali. Former T20 captain of Australia Aaron Finch top scored with 43 runs, while Usman Khawaja took Bumrah apart as he was hit for four boundaries in an over. Australia got a late match impetus by Glenn Maxwell who scored 31 runs and Peter Nevill who hit a four and a six off the 2 balls he faced.

India’s chase was anchored by Virat Kohli’s 82* and supporting roles by Yuvraj Singh (21) and MS Dhoni (18), who took India to the semis and eliminated Australia out of the World T20 2016. Maxwell who is known for his quick wit and sarcasm, replied to the troll, mentioning the brilliant innings of Meg Lanning and asking the fan to attend the Kings XI Punjab (his IPL team) trials, if he found all of this too easy. Maxwell tweeted,” Yes she is. She isn’t the only one. @meglanning7! Are you playing better then me too? Come to the kxip try outs…”

Maxwell then finally tweeted a warning for all the trolls who were trying to get better of him saying, “Yeah I hate it when I have a SALIENT bat… Seriously trolls?!? You guys are not even trying! Don’t troll a troll…”
