One of the greatest bowlers to have played the game, Shane Warne passed away due to a heart attack on 4th March 2022. And, the untimely and sudden death of the leg spinner has sent shockwaves around the cricket world.
And, Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli took to Twitter to pay his tributes to the Aussie cricket legend. Kohli stated that life is unpredictable, and added that he still cannot process the passing away of Warne. The 33-year-old Kohli also tweeted that Warne is the greatest cricketer to turn the cricket ball as well.
“Life is so fickle and unpredictable. I cannot process the passing of this great of our sport and also a person I got to know off the field. RIP GOAT. Greatest to turn the cricket ball,” tweeted Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli is featuring in his 100th Test match for India
Virat Kohli is currently playing in his 100th Test match for the Indian side against Sri Lanka. The right-handed batting colossus is the 12th Indian cricketer to do so.
Kohli scored a fluent 45 in the first innings. The 33-year-old batting icon struck 5 fours in his stay out in the middle. The Indian side ended Day 1 of the 1st Test against Sri Lanka with their scorecard reading 357/6. Rishabh Pant top-scored for the Rohit Sharma-led outfit with a scintillating 96 off 97 deliveries.
Talking about Shane Warne, the leg-spin bowling wizard is the highest wicket-taker for the Australian side in Test match cricket and scalped a staggering 708 wickets in the whites. Warne was also a colossus in ODI cricket and scalped close to 300 (293) wickets in coloured clothing for the Aussies. Warne was a part of the victorious Australian squad that won the 1999 World Cup.
