Hanuma Vihari enjoys catching session with his pet dog amid Coronavirus lockdown

The coronavirus has threatened the lives of many individuals across the globe. The virus has been spreading like wildfire across the world and many people have got affected by this. Due to this, all forms of cricket has been cancelled throughout the world. People in huge numbers are suffering from the COVID-19 crisis.

With all cricket been cancelled, cricketers are spending time off the field. Some players are engaging with their fans on social media via Q&A session. While others are using this to do Instagram live sessions with other popular stars. Indian cricketers who spend most of the time travelling and training are spending this time at home with no cricket ahead. There is no idea when proper cricket will resume. Due to the global pandemic, even IPL has been now postponed indefinitely.

Hanuma Vihari uploads an adorable video with his pet

Hanuma Vihari uploaded four videos on Instagram. In those videos, he can be seen playing cricket with his dog. He can be seen throwing the ball and also giving his dog some catches. The dog takes each of those catches. Vihari then appreciated the catches taken by his dog. He also tagged Indian fielding coach, R Sridhar asking him how the effort was.

“Catching session for Dog, 1.started off with some warm-up catches 2.close in on the leg side, holding that low position. 3.close in on the offside, great anticipation. How much do you rate him for his effort? @coach_rsridhar,” the caption of the post read.

Hanuma Vihari made his Test debut for India in the Oval Test in London against England in 2018. The right-handed batsman from Hyderabad has been a prolific run-getter in the domestic cricket. In 85 first-class matches, Vihari has scored 6860 runs with an average of 58. His only Test century came against West Indies in Jamaica last year.

Vihari has scored 552 runs from his nine Tests so far. The batsman was first seen by all during the 2012 U19 cricket world cup. He was part of the World Cup-winning U19 squad of 2012. After representing Delhi Capitals last year in the IPL, unfortunately, he was released this year. He didn’t get a buyer at this year’s auction.
