Post the outbreak of coronavirus, the world has been put in a stern situation. More than 65,000 deaths have been registered so far across the globe. Talking about India, the confirmed cases are currently more than 3000 and 77 deaths have been registered so far in the country.

India PM Narendra Modi had also announced a 21-day lockdown in the wake of the pandemic. Furthermore, the sports fraternity has also been struck with a major blow as all the tournaments and matches have either been postponed or cancelled due to the debacle.

Amid the quarantine period, many cricketers have shared videos of themselves sweating it out and keeping themselves fit while being at home. Meanwhile, several other cricketers including Krunal Pandya, Shreyas Iyer and Wasim Jaffer are spending their idle time by interacting with their fans on Twitter. Hanuma Vihari also joined the trend and answered a plethora of questions on the micro-blogging website.

Hanuma Vihari conducted a Question & Answer session on Twitter and one of the most common questions was about his favourite cricketer. A fan asked Vihari about his favourite cricketer to which Vihari replied– Sachin Tendulkar. Vihari has expressed his fondness for the Master Blaster on several occasions and has also revealed that Tendulkar was his idol since childhood.

Hanuma Vihari also opined on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma

Vihari also opined on several players including Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. While Vihari chose Rohit Sharma over David Warner as the best ODI opener, he heaped praise on skipper Kohli for his hunger for scoring runs.

Vihari was a part of the India Test squad which recently travelled to New Zealand. Despite decimating the Kiwis in the T20I series, the Men in Blue had to suffer a thumping whitewash in the subsequent ODI and Test series. In the second Test at Christchurch, Vihari hogged the attention by scoring a sublime half-century in the first innings.

Currently, there is a lot of uncertainty over when the world will be able to witness the sporting action. However, the middle-order batsman is hopeful to perform in the English County Championship. However, considering the current situation, the County Championship is also anticipated to be pushed further in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak.
