Legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Lasith Malinga turned 38 today and the wishes are pouring in for the pacer from across the globe. Apart from his unusual bowling action, Malinga is also widely remembered for his funky hairstyle. He has curly hair and he used to flaunt it by adding brown and golden color to it. His dashing look was copied by several fellow cricketers and as well as fans.
Malinga also had a huge fan following when he was at the peak of his career owing to his ability to win games singlehandedly. Apart from being a vital player for Sri Lanka, he was also the gun bowler for Mumbai Indians (MI). His exploits with the ball in hand made the Wankhede fans chant Malinga Malinga.
He has all made a lot of friends while playing for the franchise and one of those wished him. Hardik Pandya, who started playing for MI in 2015, wished his former teammate by having Agastya in the picture.
In the post shared by junior Pandya, we can see the kid having the same hairstyle as what Malinga is sporting in the picture.
Pandya also gave a fitting caption to the post and wrote, “Happy birthday Mali, from one of your biggest fans,” Hardik captioned the post on Twitter.

Hardik Pandya looking to make a mark for Mumbai Indians in the IPL
The junior Pandya is gearing up to play in the second half of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Mumbai Indians.
This is a crucial season for the Hardik, who is looking to make a statement as an all-rounder. During the past two seasons, he has not bowled for the franchise, and he just returned to bowl fully during the team’s recent limited-overs series against Sri Lanka. However, he just took three wickets in the four white-ball matches and could not contribute much with the bat either.
With plenty of games still left, Hardik will look to make the most for Mumbai Indians. Over the years, his skipper Rohit Sharma has shown enough faith in his abilities and, a good outing in the UAE leg of IPL will help gain his confidence for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup set to begin from October 17.
