Would be happy to tour Bangladesh: Chris Jordan
With a few England players still unclear on the tour of Bangladesh, 27-year old pacer Chris Jordan has stated that he would certainly go on the tour if picked in the squad. Earlier this week, Kevin Pietersen has made a few statements regarding the younger players who would indeed be going on the tour. Jordan, who has been exclusively used by England in the limited-overs’ format will be aiming to make a mark on the tour.
Speaking to BBC, Chris Jordan stated that the security matters off the field would take care of itself and also said that he hoped to make an impact in the series.”Everything else off the field can take care of itself. If selected, I will definitely go,” Jordan said. He, however, added, “When we get there I like to think that cricket would take over and we can put in some good performances for England.”
Another England youngster who seems destined for the tour is a left-arm spinner, Liam Dawson. Being one of the few spinners expected to make a name for himself in the India tour, Dawson sounded quite happy with the necessary arrangements made as far as the security of the England side was concerned.

“Given all of the security advice, I’ve listened to it all and I’m pretty happy that it’s fairly safe. It’s down to individuals to make decisions, but I’d be happy to go.”
Chris Jordan once again, however, went on to add to the fact that it was important to assess one’s personal health before making the tour. He also went on to state that an individual’s decision must be respected no matter what. “You always have to think about personal health and make a decision that is right for you,” Jordan added. “Whatever decision anyone else makes, that’s entirely up to them and it should be respected.”
