Social media is abuzz ever since it has been confirmed that Imran Khan will become Pakistan’s next Prime Minister. Prominent personalities in different fields are busy congratulating him as his 22-year dream came true. Even the Indian cricketers were not behind in wishing him and Harbhajan Singh is the latest entrant to the list as he hoped that Imran will work towards a bigger and better future of the country.
Imran’s political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has claimed victory in the general elections despite the fact they are yet to come out on top with majority number of seats. They might also need coalition partners in order to form a Government but Imran Khan is certain to become the Prime Minister.
Almost every current and former Pakistan cricketer took to their respective Twitter handles to congratulate their World Cup-winning captain after the victory. They tipped him to work for ‘Naya Pakistan’ which he had promised to the people of the country.
Even Harbhajan Singh wished for the same as he applauded the former Pakistan skipper for his achievement. “Many congratulations to @ImranKhanPTI for becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan! I hope you bring about peace and happiness amongst all and work towards a bigger and brighter future! Wishing you all the best :),” he wrote in his congratulatory tweet for him.

Bhajji in England to analyse the series
Harbhajan has been roped in by Sky Sports to analyse India’s ongoing tour of England. He sizzled in his new role with the mic in his hand during the limited-overs leg of the tour. He will also be analysing the upcoming five-match Test series between the two countries which is expected to be fought keenly. The visitors have struggled historically in whites in England and would be looking to create history this time around.
