Hardik Pandya and his friend Lisha Sharma generating some serious attention

Hardik Pandya who debuted for India two months back in Australia has impressed one and all with his brilliant hitting, his ability to bowl quick and bowl well and absolutely stunning fielding and athleticism.

He became the most talked about cricketer some days ago, when he bowled the last over of the match against Bangladesh, with them needing just 11 runs to win. The match got even more exciting, when Mushfiqur Rahim hit him for two boundaries on his 2nd and 3rd ball. But Pandya brought the team back into contention, by dismissing Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah in two balls and then bowled the perfect last ball with just 2 runs to win off it, with Dhoni running the non-striker out and winning the match for India by just 1 run.

But it seems like, along with the on-field antics, the all-rounder’s off field life is also making news these days. Pandya has been recently seen with Lisha Sharma, a model from Jamshedpur. Reports say that the Baroda boy and the model know each other since last year and have been seen hanging out in Kolkata and dining at the Taj Bengal hotel.

On being asked about Pandya, Lisha said, “A gem of a person. Chivalrous. Very grounded. Calm. Perfect.“No, he was so very calm. That’s the thing I like about him. In the last over he was smiling, so I asked him, ‘Tum smile kaise kar rahe thhe?’ (why were you smiling). He said if he felt the pressure at that point then the pressure would have shot up.”

Lisha also shared a pic of hers and Hardik together and tagged him as her ‘boo’. The hashtags used by her on the post #allrightsreserved and #taken indicate the closeness they share and the Indian fans might have a new celeb couple to go gaga about, after Virat Kolhi and Anushka Sharma.
