Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is currently recovering from a hamstring injury. While the national side is toiling hard down-under for the all-important Test series against the Aussies, Pandya is racing against time to be fit before the ODI series. Hardik had a tough time in England earlier this season when he could only sparkle in one innings with the ball for the Indian team.

His outings with the bat in the English conditions did not bear fruits for him, and he failed to replicate his heroics with the ball again as well. After the England tour, during the Asia Cup 2018, Hardik had to be stretchered off the ground after he pulled his hamstring midway through a match.

Following the injury, he missed out on the home series against the Windies, and was also not named in the Indian squad for the T20Is and the Tests against Australia. It is being speculated that he might get fit for the ODI series Down Under, that kicks off in January second week. The on-field comeback of the Baroda lad remains to be under dark clouds for now.

Meanwhile, Pandya has found other ways to be in the news. Hardik recently shared a picture on Twitter and ended up surfacing the social media trends for the same. The Twitterverse certainly does not spare anyone and Hardik did become the butt of all jokes for the picture. Some fans mocked him for his look in the picture, while the others ended up making jokes on the lean physique of the all-rounder, suggesting him to put on some weight. There were other pundits and critics too, who provided some words of advice the cricketer. They noted that Hardik should focus more on his game, rather the photoshoots.
