India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is currently a part of the squad playing the T20I series in the rainbow nation. Pandya, who started the South Africa tour in style with his imperative contribution in the Test series hasn’t quite got going in the remainder of the matches even in the limited-overs format.

The 24-year-old started off the tour with a sensational counter-attacking knock of 93 in the opening Test in Cape Town. From there on it hasn’t been a particularly great series for Pandya. He has provided some crucial breakthroughs on occasions but it has been limited to sporadic with patches of brilliance at times.

Although India scripted history by registering their maiden series win in the rainbow nation, it was an overall disappointing series for Pandya. He dismissed AB de Villiers on a couple of occasions, but had a horror show with the willow, giving rise to criticism with pundits pointing fingers at the all-rounder.

Keeping aside his performance on the pitch, Pandya is known for his stylish avatar and enjoys a huge fan following who religiously follow his lifestyle. We are well aware of the fact that Pandya loves sporting trendy looks. In the past too, he has tried out several hairstyles as was seen donning blue shades on his hair during the recently concluded ODI series against the Proteas.

And earlier the lanky all-rounder today he posted a picture of himself posing in a funk manner. He was seen in torn jeans with coloured hair and a guitar beside him. Sharing the picture Pandya wrote, “Any time is a good time to express yourself! More power to you all!”

However, this stunt by the all-rounder left the Twitterati irked as it didn’t go down well with Pandya’s fans and supporters. They started trolling the all-rounder and criticism started coming from every quarter.

A certain fan wrote, “Its good for you if you started playing well rather than making style statements. You need to work hard more. You have opportunity from 200 crore people. Otherwise, you will be like Irfan Pathan. Learn from Kohli.”
