Hardik Pandya feels honoured to click a selfie with this legend
Pandya expressed his delight on Twitter.
The rising superstar of India, Hardik Pandya is feeling proud after clicking a selfie with a special girl and has termed her as ‘legend’. He has become the vital cog of the Indian batting line-up since his debut and is being viewed as the trump card of Men in Blue for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in England. The youngster is also in exceptional form which earned him a Man of the Series award in the recently concluded ODI series against Australia.
Hardik has improved leaps and bounds after making his debut at the highest level in early 2016. He has impressed everyone in all formats so far and the skipper Virat Kohli rates him very high in both batting and bowling. Kohli also went on to say that Pandya could be the regular no.4 batsman during the ODI series. Pandya would now be eyeing the three-match T20I series against the team from down under to perform well.
Who is the special girl?
Amul, an Indian dairy cooperative, is always ready with their quick take on what’s going on the world. This time they have acknowledged the performance of Hardik Pandya in the ODIs against the Aussies and have released an ad to celebrate the ‘Hardik Swagger!’ The ad features Pandya posing with the Amul girl for a selfie. The caption that goes with it says, ‘All Round Treat!’ The 23-year-old could not control his excitement and posted the picture of the advertise on social media website Twitter and claimed that he felt honoured. His message for his followers read, “What an honour to get a selfie with this legend #AmulGirl.”
Here is the tweet of Pandya:
The all-rounder is soon becoming a sensation in Indian cricket with his swashbuckling hitting. He has already won matches for his team single-handedly and would love to do it more often in the near future. However, India also needs to manage such a brilliant player as they have been finding a seam-bowling all-rounder for ages. The real test for him would be the overseas tours which will be starting from January next year. Men in Blue are scheduled to tour South Africa after the conclusion of their home season in the last week of December.
