Stylish Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is known for bringing the x-factor in the team with his classy knocks. He has taken India over the line on numerous occasions ever since his debut in 2016. His all-round brilliance has always been an added benefit to the team. Smiling in crunch situations has always been his thing, as he showed his master class in the 2016 T20 WC against Bangladesh.

His 95 ball 93 in Test against South Africa and his latest heroics against Kangaroos on their soil are some of the best things about his career so far. When big names like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and others failed, Pandya was instrumental in taking the game by storm. In the latest ODI against Australia, he smashed 90 and 92 in the ODIs and played a scintillating knock of 42* in the 2nd T20I to hand over Men in Blue an unassailable lead 2-0 in the series.

He is the talk of the town often, but in the recent turn of events, legendary spinner Shane Warne has showered praises on Pandya. Warne named Pandya as one of his top three players on the planet. Warne added that he ‘loves’ Pandya and appreciated him with words like, “swagger”, “Mr cool”, and rockstar.

I would love to see Hardik Pandya in the Test team: Warne

“I will have Hardik Pandya in the Test side. It’s a bit of a surprise. I love him. I have said weeks ago that he is one of my top three players on the planet. I love him. He is awesome, and he certainly did what he did in the T20Is and one-dayers. Now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and saying ‘how good is Hardik Pandya,” said Warne in an exclusive interview with Sports Tak.

“I would love to see him in the Test team. He is in such great form. With the loss of Virat Kohli, he brings a lot of things to the table — batting and maybe a few over of bowling. I think he helps the Indian team walk a bit taller. He is a bit of a rockstar. He has got that swagger, he is ‘Mr cool’ when he speaks you think he is from the West Indies,” he added.
