Hardik Pandya responds to Karthik and Rahul's 'not missing you' comment

The Men in Blue are currently in Sri Lanka competing in the ongoing Nidahas Trophy against the hosts and Bangladesh in the shortest format of the game. India have rested their gun players like Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni for the series as the bench strength is being tested. Meanwhile, they are also having a lot of fun as Dinesh Karthik and KL Rahul cheekily saying that they are not missing Pandya. However, the star all-rounder has responded to them as the fun continues for the cricket fans.

The Indian team is enjoying a break between the matches after winning the straight-forward game against Bangladesh. It was a stroll for them after losing shockingly to the well-prepared Sri Lankan team in the tournament opener. The cricketers are enjoying their stay in the island nation. The current crop of cricketers enjoy a lot off the field but when it comes to performing on the field, they are a lot more serious and make sure that they don’t let their team down.

Cheeky conversation

The official Twitter handle of BCCI released a video in which Dinesh Karthik and KL Rahul were saying that they are not missing Hardik Pandya at all and are enjoying peace in Sri Lanka. “Yeah, it is far more relaxed. We are definitely not missing you. Everything is good,” the wicketkeeper said. Even Rahul then echoed his comments saying, “It is very peaceful because he (Hardik Pandya) is like a Diva. He wants all the attention. Everybody look at me. Everybody listen to me… We are not interested. We don’t want to, dude.”

However, amidst all the laughter around, both the cricketers then admitted that they were missing the attention seeker during the series. Pandya, however, loved the way they took a cheeky dig at him and responded to the tweet of BCCI saying, “I still love you both.”
