Hardik Pandya shares adorable picture with soon-to-be-mother Natasa Stankovic
The couple has been spending some quality time at their residence in the pandemic situation.
Hardik Pandya made stupendous start to his journey in 2020. On the very first week of January, he proposed Serbian actress Natasa Stankovic, kneeling down on one knee and putting the ring in her finger. He didn’t have the best of times in 2019 due to all sorts of controversies and injuries, but made sure that 2020 started on a happy note for him. Ever since then, Hardik and Natasa’s relationship has grown.
A couple of months ago, Hardik announced that he is soon going to be a father, announcing the pregnancy of Natasa with an adorable picture. Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal and many others congratulated him on the happy news. The couple has currently been spending their time at their residence due to the lockdown around the country amidst the massive coronavirus outbreak.
During this while, the duo also seemed to have tied the knots after a picture of their marriage ritual did the rounds on social media platforms. In the meantime, Hardik has posted another beautiful picture with his spouse. In the picture, Pandya can be seen lovingly holding Natasa’s baby bump.
Here’s Hardik Pandya’s post
Hardik’s career was in the doldrums back in January 2019. He featured on Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’ show along with fellow teammate KL Rahul. There he made some comments, which were termed sexist and misogynistic by a number of people. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also handed him a temporary suspension and called him back from the Australia tour.
However, he made his comeback on the tour of New Zealand and went on to play the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales as well. But after India’s home T20I series against South Africa in September, he developed an injury and hasn’t yet played international cricket after that. In this period, Shivam Dube filled in for his place in the national team.
Pandya was included in the squad for the ODI series against the Proteas in March. But he didn’t take the field as the series was called off due to the COVID-19 virus. He is next expected to be seen, playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), scheduled to start on September 19.
