Hardik Pandya’s career has been continuously marred by injuries. And, former Pakistan opening batter Salman Butt feels that Pandya’s body has become so weak, that he cannot even survive playing a single format of the game.

Butt added that Pandya needs to indulge in weight training and also needs to follow a proper diet. Butt also added that the Indian all-rounder cannot even bowl 4 overs properly.

“Hardik Pandya’s body is so weak that he can’t even survive in a single format. He needs to put on some muscle by weight training and proper diet. Ravi Shastri recently said Pandya should go back and work hard so that he is able to bowl 4 overs. That means he can’t even bowl 4 overs properly at the moment,” said Salman Butt while speaking on his YouTube channel.

Also, the Mumbai Indians (MI) side decided not to retain the services of Hardik Pandya ahead of the 2022 IPL mega auctions. Pandya has played all his cricket in the IPL for only one franchise, the Mumbai Indians (MI).

The 28-year-old has featured in 92 matches in the IPL and has plundered 1476 runs at a superb strike-rate of 153.91. With the ball, the right-arm seamer has prized out 42 willow wielders.

After he was released by the MI side, Pandya took to Twitter and tweeted that he will carry the memories that he made with the MI franchise with him for the rest of his life. Pandya also added that he is grateful to the MI side as well as the fans. Adding that every moment spent with the franchise has been special, Pandya concluded by stating that every good thing will have to come to an end.
