Hafeez and Ali have signed up for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots
Pakistan bowling sensation Hasan Ali and batting stalwart Mohammad Hafeez have signed up for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Carribean Premier League (CPL). The Pakistan duo recently featured in their successful Champions Trophy campaign in England. Hasan Ali was the leading wicketkeeper in the tournament.
The two Pakistanis are all set to join the Pakistan contingency in the tournament featuring the likes of Imad Wasim, Shoaib Malik, Sohail Tanveer, Mohammad Sami, Shadab Khan, Kamran Akmal and Wahab Riaz. Jamaican Tallawahs have bagged the services of Imad Wasim and Mohammad Sami for a sum of $90000 and $70000 respectively. Sohail Tanveer was the most expensive buy for Guyana Amazon Warriors as he went for an amount of $160,000.

It is pertinent to mention here that, seven Pakistani cricketers have been drafted into the latest season of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2017, with all-rounder Sohail Tanvir becoming the most expensive Pakistani player picked in the first round of drafts.
Pakistan emerging spinner Shadab Khan, who was impressive for his side the Islamabad United, at Pakistan Super League (PSL) was able to find his place in the CPL and was picked by Trinbago Knight Riders for $30,000, way much than PSL man of the series Kamran Akmal who was sold for $15,000 and would represent the St Lucia Stars.
All rounder Imad Wasim and fast bowler Muhammad Sami were up picked by Jamaica Tallawahs for $90,000, and $70,000, respectively. Fast bowler Imran Khan was the least expensive of all Pakistani cricketers after he was picked by Barbados Tridents for $7,500.
