Hasin Jahan slams BCCI for clearing Mohammed Shami off allegations
She was also not pleased with the fact that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Bannerjee didn't take any action on Shami.
All is not going well between the Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami and his wife Hasin Jahan over the last few months. She had accused him of having extramarital affairs and lodged a complaint against him over domestic violence. However, despite all her allegations, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) awarded him ‘B’ Grade contract.
Moreover, Hasin Jahan had also gone on to claim that Shami had fixed the matches before after which the Anti Corruption Unit of the Indian cricket board had summoned the cricketer. But he was soon cleared and was allowed to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Delhi Daredevils (DD).
What to expect from them?
Hasin Jahan was not happy with the BCCI after they cleared him from the allegations and lashed out at them while speaking to Mumbai Mirror. “BCCI! Do you really expect more from that pack of rogues?” she said. She termed her husband as ‘criminal’ and also informed that he wanted a divorce after she had exposed his all the wrongdoings.
“He wanted a divorce, not because I didn’t have the requisite virtues, but because he wanted to indulge his vices,” Jahan added. She was also not pleased with the fact that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Bannerjee didn’t take any action on Shami which was the reason Police didn’t arrest him.
“Didi was very maternal when she met me, but she and the Kolkata police only protected me. They did not support me. They supported Shami. That’s why he hasn’t been arrested,” she said.
However, she seems to have decided to move on now and is set to make her Bollywood debut in the upcoming movie ‘Fatwa’ which is being directed by Amjad Khan. “I will be playing a journalist in Fatwa,” she said while confirming her entry into the Bollywood.
