Mumbai Indians pacer Riley Meredith enjoyed a conversation with the hosts of the MI studio as he talked about his experience at the MI camp. MI has started the IPL 2022 campaign on a disappointing note as they have lost both the games that they have played so far. The five-time champions haven’t opened their numbers book on the points table so far and their struggle to do so is visible.
But the players keep interacting with each other, and Meredith shared one such incident of sharing a space with his fellow teammates Jasprit Bumrah and Tilak Varma. Meredith was all praise for Bumrah and his expertise with the ball, and shared his thoughts on interacting with Varma, the young gun in the camp.
"Having the opportunity to bowl in the nets with him is pretty special." 💥🔥

Meredith looking forward to many more net sessions with Bumrah
In a video shared by MI on their Twitter handle, Meredith is seen answering various fun questions asked to him. When asked who was the one fast bowler in the team with whom he loves hunting in the game, he said: “I’ll go with Boom Boom Bumrah, obviously. Having the opportunity to bowl in the nets with him, and the time spent with him is pretty special. He’s a great fellow and he’s happy to share some tricks and stuff with me which is really nice.”
When asked who was the first player that he met as soon as he joined the MI camp, he said: “Good Question! (laughs) I think I met Tilak Varma. The young guy is quick, and a very nice man.”
“The person who keeps everyone entertained is Ishan Kishan. He’s a prankster- always making a few gags and sort of things, but hanging out with them is pretty cool,” he said when asked who was the one person in the Mumbai Indians squad that kept him entertained.
Mumbai will play their next game against the Kolkata Knight Riders on April 6, in Pune. MI have lost both the games that they’ve played so far and will eye to make amends in the game and continue their campaign on a positive note.
