Though Virat Kohli isn’t available for the current Test of India against Australia happening at MCG, it remains as hotly contested as always. Before everyone thought that the current Australia tour is going too silently with no sledging and comments, Rishabh Pant and Matthew Wade got indulged in a verbal duel. Australian skipper took a barb at Jadeja’s way as he ran out Rahane on day three of Tests.

On the other hand, during the afternoon session, Wade and Pant got engaged in a verbal due that kept going on for a long time back and forth. Wade was seen imitating Pant’s laugh behind the stumps and asked him if he looks at the screen and how funny he looks there.

He added, “You looking at yourself on the big screen again? It’s funny, I’ll give you that. Very funny, watching yourself on the screen.”

The same session ended with a moment that was tense and equally funny as he left the delivery from Ashwin and turning to square up to Pant. While Wade left the field for the afternoon tea sessions, he was interviewed, and he gave an insight into Pant’s unique chirping style. Wade added that he keeps laughing all the time, no matter what.

“He just laughs all the time. He doesn’t really say much, he just always laughs at you. I don’t know what’s so funny, it must be my batting,” added Wade as quoted by Fox Sports.

Soon after the sessions, Wade was turned back by the Ravindra Jadeja after scoring 40 runs off his bat. The final session of the game is on where Australia is batting at the loss of six wickets. India has still maintained a lead, and it will be a thing to see how India will take forward this momentum.

Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, and Mohammad Siraj have one wicket each on their name in the second innings, while Ravindra Jadeja has two on his name. Siraj is being seen in an impressive manner on his debut.
