Sachin Tendulkar is celebrating his 49th birthday on April 24.
India’s cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar is celebrating his 49th birthday on April 24, and all his colleagues have shared a special message for him on his special day. The veteran has been one of the major reasons behind India’s success in the sport, and his contributions in the field cannot be measured. He has created and broken many records, and some of his records remain unbroken to date.
Sachin has been a support system for the Mumbai Indians team at the IPL. After announcing his retirement from the game, he has been associated with MI and has coached and mentored the team. On his birthday, he has been receiving wishes from all around the world, but the most unique one came from his former teammate Virender Sehwag. He shared a funny video wishing Tendulkar and recalled an unheard fun banter between the two from their days of playing the game.
“Sachin Paaji’s biggest expectation from me was to remain quiet while watching the match from the dressing room, whether I score runs or not. To keep me quiet, he used to feed me Bananas, so that when I eat those bananas, I won’t speak much during the process. So today, on his birthday, my biggest gift to him will be my silence. I won’t speak anything today. Wish you a very happy birthday Paaji. I’ll stuff Bananas!”
