‘He was supposed to be the next Michael Hussey’ – Twitter not happy with CSK dropping Devon Conway for LSG clash
CSK made three changes to their playing XI for the match against LSG.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are taking on the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 7th match of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). And, the CSK side decided to leave out New Zealand player Devon Conway from their playing XI. The New Zealand batter scored three runs in CSK’s previous match.
The Men in Yellow made three changes to their playing XI. Adam Milne is out of the playing XI because of a side strain. Left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner has also missed out on a berth in the playing XI. Moeen Ali, Dwaine Pretorius, and Mukesh Choudhary have been drafted into the side for this match.
CSK have been inserted into bat, and skipper Ravindra Jadeja said at the toss that CSK would have also wanted to bowl first. Adding that the ‘Men in Yellow’ would be looking to post a good total on the board, Jadeja said that the CSK side is blessed to have such a huge fanbase.
“Would’ve bowled first too. Now we’re batting so will look to put up a decent score. Blessed with a huge fan following. Three changes – Moeen is back, Milne has a side strain so going with three overseas,” said Jadeja at the toss.
