KL Rahul has been one of the most popular players from the Indian cricket team not only because of his batting performances on the field but also his social media posts. The Kings XI Punjab captain’s name has been linked with several Bollywood celebrities like Niddhi Agarwal and Athiya Shetty. Though Rahul has never accepted his relationship in public, the fans believe that he is dating Athiya.
Over the years, several Bollywood actresses have wooed the Indian cricket stars. In fact, the current Indian captain Virat Kohli is married to Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma. Hence, his the couple’s close friend, KL Rahul seems to be heading in the same direction and his latest Instagram post suggests the same.

The Karnataka cricket shared a picture of himself with Athiya on Instagram where he is holding the receiver of an old fashioned telephone while the actress is smiling for the photograph.

KL Rahul’s current form
Rahul performed extremely well with the bat this year as he played a lot of matches for the nation. Shikhar Dhawan’s injury allowed Rahul to represent the nation as an opener at the World Cup 2019 and in the series against West Indies. The right-handed batsman scored a century in both the aforementioned events as he lived up to the expectations of the fans. Besides, he had had a stellar IPL season playing for the Kings XI Punjab in 2019.
The consistent performances of Rahul have earned him the captaincy of the IPL franchise. Although Punjab has never won an IPL in the past, Rahul will look to change the fortunes of the team in the upcoming decade. As far as his international career is concerned, the Karnataka-born player will try to continue his fine form in 2020 and represent India in the ICC T20 World Cup Down Under.
