Here is what Virat Kohli has to say about his potential biopic
Virat Kohli was asked to pick an actor he would like to see playing his role in a biopic, if ever made.
In the recent times, there has been a growing trend of movies being made on the lives of popular sportstars. The biopics, as they are popularly known as, have been garnering a lot of attention and have managed to be box office hits as well. Amidst this backdrop, many have speculated that a biopic on the current Indian skipper Virat Kohli could also roll out soon.
However, if the cricketer in the frame is to be believed, then there is no such biopic coming up in the near future. As per the recent quotes in the Times Now, Virat Kohli brushed aside the speculations of a Bollywood movie rolling out on his life. He remarked that there might not be a movie based on his life. Also, he noted that if at all there is one, it might just be a real account of how things have panned out.
“I don’t think there will be a biopic made on me. I think it will be just a real account of what my life has been like,” remarked Virat Kohli.
On the actor who could play his role
In a hypothetical case, Virat Kohli was asked to pick an actor he would like to see playing his role in a biopic, if ever made. Kohli had a very diplomatic answer to this as well. He noted that it could be anyone. In fact, since there are still a lot of years of cricket left in him, there could be some actor coming up in the future who could play his role in the movie. Recently, when the biopic of MS Dhoni had released, Sushant Singh Rajput had acted the role to perfection.
“I don’t know… I mean, there are many talented people out there. But I’m still quite a few years from there, some new talented actor will come along and he might fit the role perfectly. If something like that happens, but that’s far far away,” mentioned Kohli.
