In 2019 too, he was the only Indian athlete to feature on the Forbes list of top 100 highest paid athletes. According to Forbes, he has earned a whopping $26 million this year.

The major portion of the earning which is $24 million, comes from endorsements, while he received the remaining $2 million as salary and prize money from different cricketing competitions. Virat Kohli is just one of three Indian cricketers who are on the BCCI’s A+ contract, which earns him a salary of $1 million. Kohli is the face of several top brands like Audi, Hero, MRF, Puma, Valvoline.

At present, he is in the UAE for the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Royal Challengers Bangalore have made it to the playoffs and will lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator.
