The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-2019) has brought the entire world to a standstill. With the number of confirmed cases increasing with every hour that goes by, countries all across the globe have been putting in their best efforts to bring it down. However, with no medication as yet, things have been quite challenging. Many sectors including sports have been impacted adversely due to this virus. But that’s how its been and Herschelle Gibbs has decided to have some fun on Twitter during this while.
The International Cricket Council (ICC), to keep the fans entertained during this tough time, came up with an isolation game. Based on their birth month, the fans have got to find their cricketer matchup with whom they can spend time with. The next segment of this game is that based on the highest score, they can spend that much time (in hours) with that particular cricketer. The last digit of their phone number will help them decide what they will be doing with that player.
Herschelle Gibbs gets Virat Kohli as his match-up
Both Herschelle Gibbs and Virat Kohli share a great admiration for each other. On several occasions, the Cape Town-born was all praise for the Indian captain. Likewise, Virat named Gibbs as his favourite cricketer in one of his interviews. It is only justified that Herschelle Gibbs got Kohli as his matchup given that he was born in February.
Even though Gibbs skipped the last two segments of this game, he mentioned that he’d like to go toe-to-toe with Virat in the gym. For your reference, Gibbs’ highest score in international cricket is 228 which means he’ll have quite a lot of time to spend with the modern-day legend.
“In quarantine. Me and @imVkohli going toe to toe in the gym,” he wrote in his tweet which was a reply to ICC’s tweet.
In quarantine , me and @imVkohli going toe to toe in the gym💪 https://t.co/FZ0mvB3OMp

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has got a well-deserving break after the overhauling tour to New Zealand. He is making the most of it spending some quality time with his wife Anushka Sharma in his Mumbai home. With no action, for now, Kohli has got some time to also reflect on his errors during the New Zealand tour.
