MS Dhoni has been spending the lockdown period at his residence with wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. He would have been playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, the T20 event has now been postponed for an indefinite time period. There are doubts, both over the dates and the venues after the coronavirus pandemic.
Dhoni also attended a practice session, where he, reportedly, scored a century. In the meantime, during his time at home, he has been focussing on his vehicle. Sakshi, in a recent Instagram Live session with CSK, said that her hubby has been collecting spare parts for his bikes. Recently, the 38-year-old from Jharkhand brought a new Mahindra Swaraj 963 FE tractor.
MS Dhoni’s tractor costs nearly Rs 8 lakhs
He is a huge fan of automobiles and he owns a Nissan 1 Ton truck that was owned by the Indian Army previously. His latest tractor is bright red in colour and Dhoni has been keen on using the same for organic farming in his farmhouse. It’s first look was provided by the CSK itself two weeks ago.
It costs around INR 8 lakhs. Now, Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of Mahindra Group, has heaped praises on Dhoni for buying the vehicle. The enigmatic figure also called Dhoni a good decision-maker with a decent sense of judgement.
On Saturday, June 6, he took to Twitter and wrote, “I’ve always thought the man is a good decision-maker with the perfect sense of judgment.”

As far as action on the field is concerned, it’s been quite a while since Dhoni has been away. He was last seen in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup against New Zealand. Though he got a fifty, he couldn’t take the Indian team to the final. Martin Guptill ran him out in the crunch encounter.
He has served the Indian Army thereafter at the Kashmir Valley. In the meantime, there have been reports of when he will retire from international cricket. Most of the experts have had their opinions. However, Dhoni, who will be turning 39 in July, hasn’t spoken about his plans yet.
