Pakistan and West Indies have locked horns with each other for the warm-up match of the T20 World Cup 2021. After having won the toss, West Indies elected to bat first at the ICC Academy, Dubai. However, a chat between Shadab Khan and Mohammad Rizwan has gone viral on Twitter and is grabbing the attention of the on-lookers.
Whilst the ongoing match, West Indies lost their openers cheaply. Chris Gayle was present at the crease alongside Roston Chase. That is when Shadab noticed something about Gayle’s innings. In the video that went viral, the bowler can be heard saying that that the explosive batter is a tad bit under pressure. Wicketkeeper Rizwan agreed with the bowler and stated that Gayle is looking scared and thus is trying to be dominating.

Gayle did not play all the matches of the second half of the IPL. He pulled out from the tournament midway trough citing bubble fatigue, and couldn’t fetch big knocks from the matches he played for the Punjab Kings. In this match as well, he played rather poised innings of 30 balls 20 runs.
Pakistan will kick start their World Cup campaign against India
Pakistan and India will battle it out against each other on October 24. India has had an edge over Pakistan in the World Cup. The team has won on seven occasions against their arch-rivals in the 50 over World Cup and five times in the 20-over World Cup. The only positive for the Men in Green is their record against India in the Champions Trophy, wherein the team also won the final in the year 2017.
The Indian skipper Virat Kohli had earlier opened up on the India-Pakistan clash. He highlighted the hype around the game and stated that it is just another game of cricket.
“I honestly never felt so. have just approached this game as another game of cricket and I know there is a lot of hype around this game, more so with ticket sales and demands of tickets. nd right now, the value of those tickets is ridiculously high and that’s all I know, my friends are demanding tickets right left and center and I am saying, ‘no’,” Kohli said during a virtual press conference ahead of the T20 World Cup.
