The duo put up this stand in a a group B match at Edinburgh at the ICC World T20 qualifier this year. After Netherland had made 191 in the stipulated 20 overs, Scotland were in trouble having lost 7 wickets for just 79. That is when Mommsen and Sharif combined to script a fightback. Mommsen was the aggresor scoring 68 and looked sublime while Sharif who made 26 proved an able partner for him. Though the Scottish boys lost the match by 32 runs this partnership was one of the highlights of the game.
