Indian cricketer Sanju Samson came up with a hilarious reply to one of his fan’s questions about Yuzvendra Chahal’s fake appointment as Rajasthan Royals captain. Chahal has been one of the best entertainers in the Indian dressing room and recently, he had taken over RR’s official Twitter handle through which he announced a fake appointment of himself as the captain and also revealed plans to open the batting alongside Jos Buttler.

On a funny note, Samson congratulated Chahal for his appointment and the leg-spinner straightaway came back with a hilarious message from RR’s Twitter account stating “jealous jealous”. Apart from this, Chahal had also left the Twitterati in splits with his series of posts that included messages for Ravichandran Ashwin and Buttler.

Very happy for him: Sanju Samson

Samson responded to a fan in the Q & A session on Instagram, stating that he is very happy for Chahal’s appointment as the skipper and wished that he brings back the coins after tosses in IPL. “Very happy for him. Hope he keeps all the coins for me after the toss,” Samson replied reply to the fan.

Samson was called back into the Indian squad for the recently concluded Sri Lanka T20Is and he did really well in the two innings scoring a quickfire 39 and 18. The selectors had also revealed that Samson is clearly in their plans for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, and a good IPL 2022 season will definitely help the wicketkeeper-batter’s chances of making into the final squad.

Meanwhile, Chahal was picked by the Royals in the IPL 2022 mega auction for INR 6.5 crore after a bidding war and the former has joined the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Devdutt Padikkal among the new RR recruits for the season. The Royals will start their IPL 2022 campaign against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 29 at the MCA Cricket Stadium.
