The cricket scenario is currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic which has brought the world to a standstill. Over 3 lakh deaths have occurred over the world so far and most countries are still under lockdown to tackle the situation. Amid this stern situation, there’s no certainty whatsoever over the resumption of cricket.

Two prominent tournaments– IPL 2020 and the T20 World Cup 2020 are currently in jeopardy because of the pandemic. However, the BCCI and the ICC are expected to come out with a solution in the near future. With no matches to witness, many cricketers are currently spending their quarantine time by either watching movies or binging on web series.

Australia legend Shane Warne is also one of them as the leg-spinner expressed his love for the popular web series ‘Money Heist’ on Twitter. Warne, in his tweet, said that he can’t wait to watch the fifth season of the popular web series.

“How good is the series -“Money Heist” !! Wish season 5 would hurry up and start already (when is it available to watch)? Who’s your fav character followers?” tweeted Warne.

Warne was recently in news for his comments on Steve Waugh

Warne was recently in news for expressing his animosity towards his former teammate and Australia skipper Steve Waugh. Warne, many a time, has not shied away from criticizing Waugh for his decisions. The leg-spinner reignited the feud yet again as he called Waugh ‘most selfish cricketer’ in a tweet.

In a recent tweet showing run out stats of Waugh, it was realized that he was involved in 104 run outs in his international career. Among those 104 run out incidents, Waugh’s batting partners were the victims on 73 occasions.

Reflecting on Waugh’s stat, Warne wrote: “For the record AGAIN & I’ve said this 1000 times – I do not hate S Waugh at all. FYI – I picked him in my all-time best Australian team recently. Steve was easily the most selfish cricketer that I ever played with and this stat.”
