Sachin Tendulkar, the former Indian cricketer, retired from international cricket back in 2013 after the home Tests against the West Indies. However, even after seven years following his retirement, he hasn’t lost fandom by any means.
The Master Blaster is currently plying his trade for the India Legends in the Road Safety World Series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Stadium in Raipur. In the meantime, Chris Tremlett, who’s representing the England Lions in the tournament, shared a picture where he was posing with Tendulkar.
The former speedster lauded Sachin and had words of praises for his looks at the age of 47. He captioned the picture and wrote, “If I can look as good as this guy at his age I’ll be a very happy man @sachin_rt.”

Sachin Tendulkar’s rib-tickling tweet:
Thereafter, Sachin also lauded Tremlett for his physique, but in a hilarious manner. He replied to Tremlett and wrote, “How many OMELETTES would I need to eat to look like TREMLETT?”

Tremlett is six feet and seven inches tall and he has a passion for body-building. After hanging his boots from cricket, Tremlett, who’s also a director of a property investment firm based in London, hit the gym to get bigger.
“For a couple of years I just basically tried to get as big as I possibly could and to do that you do have to eat an obscene amount of calories if you’re a big guy like me. I was eating around 8,000 calories a day and I did find taking in that amount quite hard work,” Tremlett had told in an interview with Sportsmail.
“There were times when I was eating rubbish as well just to get the calories in. I got to around 135 kilos but I didn’t feel particularly great with it,” he stated.
“You stop enjoying food so a lot of those calories came from breaking it down and blending it and making high calorie shakes to get them in at the right time,” he added.
Tremlett played 12 Tests, 15 ODIs and one T20I for England from 2005 to 2013. He picked up a total of 70 wickets with two five-wicket hauls to show for his efforts. In the ongoing T20 tournament in Raipur, he has picked two wickets from as many matches.
